{"id":27671,"date":"2025-11-19T15:25:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T15:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/czip.me\/?p=27671"},"modified":"2026-04-14T10:23:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T10:23:22","slug":"memorandum-of-cooperation-signed-for-the-protection-of-the-moraca-river","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/czip.me\/en\/2025\/11\/19\/memorandum-of-cooperation-signed-for-the-protection-of-the-moraca-river\/","title":{"rendered":"Memorandum of Cooperation Signed for the Protection of the Mora\u010da River"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Centre for Protection and Research of Birds (CZIP)<\/strong>, the <strong>Montenegrin Ecologists Society (MES)<\/strong> and the international organisation <strong>EuroNatur<\/strong> have taken a significant step towards protecting one of Montenegro&#8217;s most valuable natural treasures \u2014 by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation on the project <strong>&#8220;Promoting Qualified Protection of the Mora\u010da River in Montenegro&#8221;<\/strong>. The Memorandum was signed in cooperation with the <strong>Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North<\/strong>, thereby granting the partnership official state backing and a firm institutional framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goals of the future cooperation among the signatories are both wide-ranging and far-reaching. In addition to raising public awareness about the importance of preserving nature, biodiversity and key ecosystems in Montenegro, the Memorandum provides for the organisation of a series of joint activities \u2014 from professional training sessions and seminars, to round tables, public debates and conferences. All of these activities are aimed at strengthening the capacities of relevant institutions and stakeholders, so that regulations in the field of nature protection are adequately and consistently implemented.
