We are pleased to invite you to join us at the special event “Prstenijada 2024” that we are organizing from September 20 to 22 at the Ulcinj Salina. We dedicate this weekend to the birds of the Ulcinj Salina, and we offer you the opportunity to get to know them slightly differently, through ringing and guided tours by our ornithologists.
We have designed interesting content for a multi-hour stay at the Ulcinj Salina: participation in workshops on biodiversity, painting workshops, bicycle riding, a yoga class at sunset and themed movie nights. In addition to science, we want to give visitors the opportunity to experience nature differently, learn about the connection between nature and art, and feel their influence on our mental and physical health and well-being.

- Bring water and sunscreen. At the entrance there is a water fountain where you can refill your bottles with water. You can also do that from the water dispenser that will be at the info desk and in front of the Museum.
- Bring mosquito spray and prevent them to spoil your experience 🙂
- Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes.
- From the entrance to the bird ringing station, the distance is about 1.5 km. You can walk there, ride a bike (your own or take one on the spot if there are free bikes), kick scooter, rollerblades or you can wait for transportation in our electric golf vehicle – Slaniša.
- Slaniša will run every 15 minutes in the afternoon (17:00; 17:15; 17:30; 17:45; 18:00; 18:15; 18:30; 18:45; 19:00; 19:15 ; 19:30; 19:45). If you visit us in the morning, walk or ride a bicycle.
- If you have registered for one of the workshops, look on the map for the meeting place or ask at the info desk. If you only want to go bird ringing or a bird watching tour, head directly to the ringing station – our ornithologists are waiting for you there!
